Is Single 1 tax status the same as being married, but withhold at a higher single rate?
Q. I got married in Sept. 2006. My payroll changed my tax status to Married 1. I ended up owing the IRS in April, 2007. (My husband never changed his status from Single 1.) My accountant suggested that I file as Married, but withhold at a higher single rate. After a pay period or two, I noticed that my payroll dept. did not do this. They claimed that their paychex system does not have a check box for that option. They switched my status to Single 1. I feel that not only is too much money being withheld from my paycheck, but also, can't I get into trouble for filing as a Single 1 when I am married? A. "Married but withhold at the higher single rate" and "Single" are the same as far as withholding are concerned. There's nothing wrong with your withholding being done that way. It would only be a problem if you were to file a tax return as "Single". How you complete Form W-4 with your employer and how you file your tax return are separate and distinct issues. Don't confuse the two! What I would be more curious about is why your accountant filed your returns as Married Filing Separately. You'll normally pay more tax that way. Married Filing Jointly is how you would normally want to file as you'll pay less total tax that way unless you have a very unusual tax situation.

A. This really depends on the type of disability. Blind people need different accomodations than do those who use a wheelchair. I recently spent 3 months in a wheelchair, and I must say that it opened my eyes to the number of barriers that our disabled friends face on a daily basis. In our town, the sidewalks are so cracked that I was nearly pitched out of the wheelchair several times when my husband was pushing my chair. Our office is supposedly ADA compliant, yet I couldn't get my wheelchair into the bathroom. If you have a differently-abled employee, ask them to give you open and honest feedback about what they need in order to operate comfortably in your workplace.

What are some similarities and differences between 1 mole of water molecules and 1 mole of copper atoms?

I know what is similar is that it is 6.2times10^23 of the units and that it is different in that 1 is copper and 1 is water and one is atoms and 1 is molecules, so the copper makes up a certain number of molecules that are less than a mole while the water is a mole in itself. Can 1/2hp garage door openers open a 2 car garage door without spring?
Q. Can 1/2hp garage door openers open a 2 car garage door without spring? One side of the wire on my garage door broke, right now the door is crooked. If I cut the remain wire, the door will not be sprung, will the garage door opener still have enough power to open it? This is just temp solution until I can get it fixed, but I need to know before I cut. Thanks. What I had to do last night was, I losened the bolt that was holding the wheel that was winding the wire, it released the spring's energy, then I just manually opened the door with a buddy. I'm going to hire a professional to fix it and wind it back to the proper tension though.

BUT- if your spring is a torsion rod that mounts horizontally on the wall right above the door I would have to advise you to please not attempt any action yourself, but contact an overhead door serviceman. Those torsion bar springs are LOADED with energy waiting to be released from the counter-wound springs and can be extremely dangerous when out of balance or suddenly released. How do you show just 1 carbon atom using skeletal forumla?

Simple answer is you wouldn't because skeletal formula is usually for structural representation and there is no structure to a single carbon atom, also without any hydrogen atoms it's not an organic molecule so would not use skeletal formula. But that aside tecnically i suppose it would be a dot with 4 negative charge signes around it. I used for my chemistry A level and it was really good at explaining things.

Apparently she will be taking medication everyday for the rest of her life and she has a strict diet to follow. What's the difference between type 1 and type 2? It is thought to be a viruse that attacks it at some point. There are more cases of type 1 in states that have cold weather. Should I put 1 time acts of charity as volunteer work on a resume?

I have done a number of 1 time volunteer things such as marathons/5K/10K walks to raise money or helping register voters during election times and things like that, should these types of things go on a resume? I do not have much in terms of any long term volunteer work but I am still active in giving back through these other ways.

I have done a number of 1 time volunteer things such as marathons/5K/10K walks to raise money or helping register voters during election times and things like that, should these types of things go on a resume? I do not have much in terms of any long term volunteer work but I am still active in giving back through these other ways.

A. Yes, you should put these activities on your resume. They show that you are invested in your community, that you know how to interact with other people, that you have a life outside of work, that you are a caring person, and that you can balance work and outside-of-work life.

A. Ways to roll a 7: 1+6 6+1 2+5 5+2 3+4 4+3 so 6. 6/36 = 1/6% of a win when rolling. Player 2 has a 7/36 chance of winning, which is a little over 1/6%. On the first roll, player 1 has a chance of 1/6. The probability of winning will change, because his second roll depends if player 2 loses now. Chance of player 2 losing is 36-7/36 = 29/36. So we mulitply 1/6 * 29/36 for the probability of player 2 losing AND player 1 winning on the second roll. If you want to know the probability that player 1 will win a roll, it's 1/6. If you want the probability that player 1 will win the game, it will fluxuate because the events depend on the earlier rolls all losing.

How much is 1 part when feeding a baby bird?
Q. I have a Lovebird, who just had 2 eggs hatch. One she isn't really paying too much attention to and the other she does. I bought baby bird formula, just in case I have to hand feed. It asks for 1 part formula and 6 parts water. Can anyone please explain to me, how much exactly that is.

You really should have someone show you how to handfeed you can kill the bird if not Also when feeding a day old chick the formula will have to be a looser consistency than a older chick You also must feed Every 2 hours around the clock So do NOT start what you are not planning to finish. This is Not a easy process you need a brooder set up etc etc etc If this is your first time I would find a mentor breeder who lives near you to help you learn if you need help locating help email me through my profile i will put you in touch with someone near you to help Also check out Lovebirds plus forum believe me I was in the same exact place you were many years ago and if not for my mentor i would have surely killed my chicks. How much can 1 person realistically study per day on a consistent basis?
Q. I know what it takes for me to get to a 97+ rate of grades. I am a semi-perfectionist now that I figured it out. However, I would like to know a realistic amount of time per day or week to study to figure out how many classes I should take at 1 time. I am not looking for study ideas nor techniques as I said, because I figured out what works for me. I am just trying to figure out a correct amount of courses to take.
