How to transfer memory from an xbox 360 to another one without using a memory card?

A. DVD drive failure, only covered by the 1 year warranty. You can try cleaning it out with a can of compressed air, it may help a little bit. Eventually you will need to call xbox support and schedule a repair. If you are no longer covered by the 1 year warranty this may cost $100-$140 to have fixed. BUT when you pay to have it fixed, the 1 year and 3 year warranties start over from the day it leaves the repair center.

How to connect my Xbox 360 to the internet using a restrictive college network?
Q. So at the college i go to you can only connect your laptop to the network and not game systems including 360. I know you can connect your 360 to the internet with your laptop but i only have one ethernet port on my laptop and i do not want to deal with wireless if possible. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Is there something that adds another ethernet port or anything like that? Thanks

Q. I hooked my ipod to my 360 using a USB cable and downloaded some software from the marketplace that should've allowed me to listen to the music on my 360. But for some reason it didnt work. A. Its probably because the songs you want to play on your Xbox 360 off your iPod are either protected songs from the iTunes Music Store that are protected by DRM's. Or it could be because the certain file type is conflicting with the Xbox 360. Because I know for a fact that Xbox 360's are made from Microsoft so the only music that are allowed to be played on their systems are file type's such as original mp3, wma, aac, or maybe if your lucky Mpeg file's. Just burn your stuff to a blank cd in iTunes and import your new album into your Xbox 360. When songs are burned to a cd the file type always converts from its unplayable file type such as mp4 to mp3. The best thing about it too is that its legal! Hope that helps.

(Which was $479.99) However, with the exchange prices from today, that would equal about 300. Since the exchange prices then were about (1.90 USD : 1 GBP) the price for an Xbox Elite when it first came out in Engand was about 260. Hope this helped! :) (Oh, and by the way, in the sources the ultimate-guitar thing really did help because I found the exchange rates from 2007 on there)

Q. My family has a wii but i want to get games like left 4 dead, call of duty and GTA and stuff. So i was thinking of getting the 360 arcade ( i don't have a lot of money) what is the difference between it and the pro and do you like yours if you have one?

A. The arcade just has a 256mb memory card the pro has a 60GB hard drive The pro has a standard and HD video cable. The arcade just has standard. Pro has a Headset and Network cable. The Arcade does not. Only Xbox 360 Pro can play original XBox Games I beleive Xbox is about to launch an arcade upgrade pack for around $100 it is supposed to include a headset and 60GB hard drive. Might be a good option if you eventually want to get into the online stuff. If your not going online the Arcade will do fine.

How does an emulator work for Xbox 360? Can i play pirated games if i install this on Xbox 360?
Q. I have no knowledge about what an emulator is. Can someone please explain its function when installed on any console? Can i play pirated Xbox 360 games if i install this software? Paying $50 for a game, i think is very pricey.

Q. Ok, so I'm a casual gamer and I'm thinking about getting rid of my PS2 and buying an Xbox 360. But I don't know what the difference between the pro and the arcade is. I get that there is a 20gb harddrive in the pro and only a small memory card in the arcade but is that really a big deal. I really just want to play a couple games and be able to save them.

A. You just just want to play games & save them, the arcade bundle is for you. But if you want to go online, download demos, movies etc. You'll need the harddrive. So, Arcade for playing games & saving them Pro for going online and downloading content. I have a pro bundle and i can definately recommend it. So it basically comes down to preference.

How can I have a computer and xbox 360 work from the same router?
Q. I have a modem connected to D-Link router, then coming off of my router I have my computer and 360, the 360 says it has IP problems, but the computer is fine, me asking this question is proof of that. How do I get both working?

A. Check and make sure your router is Live Compatible. If it is, then do the network test on your 360 and see what the problem is. Then use the connection guide to try and solve it.
