What do those majoring in Artificial Life do as a career?
Q. I'm interested in studying Artificial Life in college, but I do want to know what I would do after obtaining my major?

A. I would have to say mostly research as there is not a lot of commerical applacations in the field. But if it is what you love to do, then you should go for it. Getting into research and University jobs is really hard, but whats the point in doing someting that doesn't make you happy. If you are really good at writing and can explain complex idea to the general population, you can also write books and give talks on the subject.
