What is the purpose of this symbol?
Q. Its the Infinity car brand logo. Does it mean anything to you?
Asked by B-More G - Mon Apr 21 01:34:28 2008 - - 22 Answers - 0 Comments

A. It's like you said, Infinity car logo. So, it would mean "Infinity" Look at the symbol as if it was a 3D design. The pointy on the top is actually not pointy at all. All of that part is suppose to be parallel, but when you look at it from the buttom it appears to gets narrower and looks like it came to gether like this "/\" Try it, go to a long long stretch of a road and look far far away. The two side of that road will look like it's getting closer like this "/ \" So, the symbol is probably showing the road that is infinite.

emails saying im not member and where do I make suggestions for site?
Q. im getting emails saying im not a member under said user name but in my my groups page it says I am and i can post??? I don't understand I was a member one day and now says Im not. do I have to reapply, is it a glitch? I first started with wanted ads instead of offer but under moderator manual it says not to make people do offers first, and the only thing i found for me is member FAQS if that's the tutorial it says no where there i have to offer first so i didn't and now being told im not member of those two groups, what do I do?? I made a mistake. Also I have a suggestion I would like to mention but I don't know where, I feel if someone posts something in a wrong way they should be warned and told to fix it instead of just rejecting them… [cont.]

A. it's hard to help without seeing that e-mail which stated you're not a member. if you can log onto the group and click edit memebrship, I'd tend to think you're stil a member. it could be the owners of the group disabled you from posting as well. when they disable you from posting, you will get back an auto e-mail stating that but as far as any other notice per membership, one wouldn't know. as for freecycle type groups, I don't belong to any of them but when there is problems being posted here and else where, they're al from those types of groups. any group should give warnings prior to action is my opinion, but many do not. that's where you'd send your suggestions but from what I understand, most are not receptive to suggestions as such. How can I find a hair salon that will help me get a "punk" style?
Q. I've been going to friends of my parents for my haircuts most of my life. It was cool, it never looked bad, but it's getting to the point where I'd like to actually get a punk hairstyle, and mom's friends just aren't really up on that. I've brought products for spiking and hold, read FAQs online, but I never can quite get it to work. I've been told the problem is I'm using too much product, not using enough, not drying my hair off properly, using the wrong product... I'm done wasting money on trial and error, and would like a professional to not just give me a haircut, but to give me a for-dummies tutorial of how to maintain the style I want. I've tried it in a few local salons, but they don't seem to quite understand what I'm going for,… [cont.]

A. first of all... the best thing to do is to find a pic of someone whose hair you like, and bring that to a salon with you. I don't know what kind of salons you have in your area, but even a Cost Cutters or Great Clips will have lots of cool styles because they have a lot of young people working there, and know most of the latest styles. It just might be possible that you have the wrong texture hair for the styles you like. I have extremely thick hair and I have always loved wearing my hair kind of "spiky". I finally found a few things that hold my hair. One of them is called Hair Taffy. Smells great and works great. Also, if you blow dry your hair, let it air dry a little first so it's damp when you dry it. Then put in a little styling… [cont.]
