What is the difference between hepatitis c and hepatitis b?
Q. What is the difference between hepatitis c and hepatitis b? And also can it be possible to have a false positive on a Hepatitis B test? My friend tested negative 4 months ago for it, but now she got a test again and it came back positive this time, but nothing has changed in her life. Same sex partner, no cheating, no drug use or anything. So she went back today to get another re-test, thinking that the positive test was a mistake. We won't find out the answers for a few days though. But basically the reason why she gets tested so often for this type of stuff is because she is trying to get pregnant with invitro, and they must test for all of these diseases before they will inseminate you with the fertilized egg. A. PV/T is constant. In a constant pressure process, V1/V2 = T1/T2 ==> V1 = V2T1/T2 = 26.1*(20.2+273.15)/(59.7+ 273.15) = 23.003 cm^3. Take the difference between this value and 26.1 cm^3, and divide the result by the piston area. The result is a piston stroke length of 3.097/(pi*0.5^2) = 3.944 cm.

Is a B good enough in calculus for becoming an engineer?
Q. I haven't decided which one. I was thinking electrical engineer because I love studying electricity circuits. I've taken technology classes, but I think I might move on to a 4 year study. I took my first course and got a B. It was really hard for me. I do understand some of it, but will that be enough to really be able to do that work? Are there engineering jobs that don't use calculus much?

A. With electrical engineering, it's important to understand calculus. If you have a high B, it will probably be all right. The problem is that if you have a low B, and it's heading toward a C, you might be missing some important understanding of what is going on. Or you may be skipping important sections of material in your book. I've been told that other engineering don't use calculus as much by friends in civil engineering. There's also the possibility of going into electrical engineering technology, which uses much less difficult math. The pay scale can be almost as good as electrical engineering depending on where you work, and how you move up in your job position over time.
