How can I turn off blinking red light on my Blackberry Curve?
Q. I just got a Blackberry Curve and I can't figure out how to turn off the blinking red light. On my old one, the red light would only blink when i had messages, but on this one it blinks all the time and it's driving me crazy. I don't have any messages so it shouldn't be blinking.

Q. My MIL bought us a dual charging station for our WII remotes, from ebay so it doesn't have a user manual. It has an individual light for each charger that is lit up red when you first put the remotes in place. One of the lights is now blinking red. Anyone know what that means? I think this is an older model and also may not be Nintendo brand.

A. Well, it used to only take about a week or so once you had shipped it. A. There's issues similar to this occuring with some users with the Pets expansion pack, so the problem may be the same as the others. From what I've read at various websites, red walls happens if your graphics card cannot handle running that expansion pack. It may have been able to handle all the other expansions but Maxis continues to drop older graphics cards so some cards are no longer supported. You can check to make sure you meet the requirements here: And check to be sure that your graphics card is supported in this expansion pack. The only solutions are to upgrade the drivers for your graphics card, buy a better graphics card or uninstall that expansion pack until you can get a better one.

Q. 2001 Ford Escort ZX2. It has one of those built-in (I'm guessing it came that way originally) combination radios/cd players (Kenwood, if that helps) where you detach the faceplate and take it with you...apparently to prevent theft. Is that such a necessity to take it off every time...do people really steal 'faceplates' that much on an alarmed car? Anyway...back to my question. After I do take the faceplate off...in the bottom right corner of the indentation it goes in...there is a little red blinking light of some sort. It 'pulses' every...maybe 3-5 seconds. Including when the car is off. What is this thing and what is it's purpose, exactly? Doesn't hurt anything...and such a little light I know of course wouldn't affect such a huge car… [cont.]

Q. I lost the instructions for the surge suppressor. It has six places to plug into. At the time that the red light was blinking, a radio and an electric tooth brush were plugged into it.

A. A normal radio and an electric toothbrush normally wouldn't draw enough current to short anything out. Unless they themselves were wonked up something bad. If its a constant flashing staccato blink, then it probably means something, and my guess is something got sizzled. Although usually that just means the fuse. Although, getting the fuse and replacing it is a hassle if that were the case. Alternately, and as I've seen happen many many times, the powerswitch is red, and the little light in it to tell you its getting power is just slowly blinking in and out, which just means you have an old surge protector. (Got 2 in the house like this right now.) If, on the other hand, this isn't so much a surge protector (Or suppressor if you prefer.) [cont.]

A. very common problem with the 360s.. contact microsoft.. takes about 4 weeks but they will fix/send you a new one.. if you are still under warranty (which they extended just for this problem) Good luck!!!
