How do I take the window lock button off my 99 Buick Century?
Q. The window lock button on the drivers side panel is broken, so no one in the car can't put down there own windows. I can only control the windows going up or down. The button is broken and stuck on windows lock. What can I do to make my windows work?

Q. Car is a 2006 330I with comfort access. The key fob only opens the trunk at this point. Also the lock/unlock button inside the car is not working, either. Actually the key fob works; whats inop is the central lock/unlock button located in the dash. I should say that the locks don't open at all but other features of comfort access work, i.e. Key Fob starts car and opens trunk (both with ignition/buttons and just comfort access).

What is the point of the Caps Lock button?
Q. Is it just me, or is the Caps Lock button the most pointless thing on a keyboard? I'm forever accidentally knocking it without noticing, and then look up at my screen (I can't touch type!) to find that I have pages of text all in capital letters apart from at the start of sentances and names, which of course, are all in lower case.

How do I fix the push in button lock on a wing window?
Q. I have a 82 Toyota truck and the inside of the drivers side wing window push button lock is stuck, it will not push in to release the lock and open the window. Im trying to reverse my 03 expedition out of the garage so that i can get under the hood to change the dead battery but the shifter will not allow it even when pressing on the brake and turning the key in all directions. Is there a shift lock override button anywhere near the shifter and how do i get to it?

A. My first suggestion would be to read your owners manual. If you do not find it in there and your shifter is console? mounted( you know where it's between the front seats). If you add a password 2 your vista account then you have added security. lets say that you r working on an important document and you dont want anyone else in your home 2 read it but, you want 2 go make coffee. then u click the lock button and if someone tries 2 use the computer they will need to use your password. A. Try to right click on the touchpad icon in you system tray at the bottom right of the screen. There should be a properties option. If not try the other options. If there is no icon go to the control panel and see if the Mouse settings have anything concerning the touch pad. Good Luck!

The beep and flashing light as well as the locking of the other doors is a little sluggish but the drivers side door is non responsive to the remote or the console button.
