Some one gave me a philips magnavox 37 inch tv ,Why is it so hard to find a manual for it?
Q. Friend just gave me a tv 37 inch philips magnavox 37 inch . It runs great. Thought I'd try and find a manual for it,just in case I need it. Why is it so complicated. I have all the right info model #TP3285C1 year it was made 1999.Any ideas?

I have a Philips Magnavox projection TV that has a very dark picture?
Q. The colors are mainly green and red and can not be adjusted with the remote menu. What is the problem?

A. Does the blue look foggy? If so, the coolant needs replacement, and this isn't a job for customers...loosen the wrong bolt at the wrong time and and you end up with coolant spilled all over the main power/deflection board. Also, does the Picture have a greenish fog look to it? I have seen the coolant get foggy on that one also...But never the red... YOU would be surprised how changing the coolant will restore the picture like it just came from the factory...

A. Most of the time all you need are audio cabled with RCA connectors. Going from the out on the TV (just leave the yellow empty) to one of the IN on the HTS. Just don't try to plug it into the dvd/cd IN. Use AUX or if there is a MONITOR in use that.

Q. I have a 64" rear project TV model MX6472. I would like to access the service menu. I've had it serviced a few times and I know you can access it via pushing numerous buttons on the factory remote, I just need to know which buttons and in what order. Thank you :-)

Ive just bought a 42 in magnavox at target for the sale price of a Philips 42 i am on doubt if the philips is?

A. I do but it stopped working for me and my tv a year or two ago and I bought a universal remote and programmed it to use with the tv (I have cable by the way). Your second question, I don't know, your instruction booklet that came with the tv may help you and maybe not if you are asking on here. I can't really help you but maybe the satellite company can or try a universal remote. Good luck.
