A. Magnavox DVD. 0441 0442 0599 0799 0699 0247 0193 0093 0598 1. Press and hold the code search button until the red indicator stays on, then release the code search button. 2. Press and release the desired mode button (TV,VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit. 3. Enter the 4 digit code. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes. 4. With your device on, press channel up. If the device responds, no further programming is required.

Q. The Philips Universal Remote Control is Pm435s, it will control 4 devices. It is a cheap remote and so is the TV/DVD Combo. I have been searching for about 3 hours. I have found the manuel, but it did not work, or maybe I am so ticked off I just can not get the code too work! Thank You!!

Q. I believe I own a Philips Magnavox CL032 universal remote, (at least I know it's CL032 and a universal Philips, anyway) but I can't seem to make it work. I bought a DVD player from an old consignment shop and they had a packaged remote included, but without a manuel. All they included was a sheet that said: universal remote-goes with Disney DVD player (the one I bought) code=0246. I've gone on tons of websites and they all give these instructions:manually turn on device to be controlled (tv, dvd, etc) 1. Press and Hold code search until the red led stays lit. Release code search button. 2. Press unit you wish to program (vcr/dvd, tv, sat/ cab) LED will remain lit. 3. Press channel up/ down one at a time (up to 300 times), until the device… [cont.]

A. I read the instructions for it and they are the same as you have. You can always buy another remote. They are cheap and will have an instruction manual. Be sure it is a remote that has a setting for dvd. not all of them do.

Q. Does anybody have codes for my magnavox dvd/vcr combo and a mixsonic dvd for philips universal remote control sru3003wm/17? To John: I have tried the codes from the list, but they haven't worked (I have the actual manual). I just though that maybe someone had a different code that had worked before.
