My PS3 is shutting down - 3 beeps and then flashing red light?
Q. This happens about 10 minutes after turning on the system. I'm playing GTA IV, and the system turns off with three beeps, and the power indicator blinks red until I press the power button, which makes it turn solid red (normal for standby mode). Could this have anything to do with the fact that I updated the firmware today as well? System: 80 GB ps3, bought in December.

I drive a 2000 vw beetle and the indicator light that looks like a thermometer is blinking red?
Q. also the tank with the same picture the liquid is boiling in the lable says refergante can i put water into it to get it to a garage its parked for the night now also would the thermostat have anything to do with it? A. Yes you can use water if you have no alternative. Make sure you tell the garage so they can correct the antifreeze mixture. There are numerous things that could cause it to overheat, including the thermostat, clogged radiator, bad cooling fan, bad sensor, bad water pump or even a blown head gasket.

A. "Unable to clean" means that something mechanically is stopping the print head or cleaning assembly from operating normally. I have encountered this on a couple of occasions, the first was because of a problem with the print head and needed replacement, the other was due to an encoding strip that had slipped out of place. If the machine is less than 12 months old then I would find your receipt and take it to a service agent to get it repaired under warranty. If the machine is not under warranty then the cost to get it repaired is likely not going to be worth it given that it is only a cheap machine and you are better off getting a new one.

The left one has 1 dot on it and the right has 3 dots. The middle does not have any dots. What the heck do these buttons operate? Also, what color of antifreeze do I use for this car?

If it's still got Dexcool in it, you need to use that unless you're doing a complete flush. If someone has already changed it, you do not want to add Dexcool. I have an International DT 433 truck and I have some elecrtical and other problems on it. - Sometimes when trying to start the engine early in the morning I just can't (mostly when its cold); - My indicator for charging the batteries blinks red and makes sound and I am afraid that when I'm doing delivery its gonna stop; - Sometimes the indicator on the dashboard blinks and shows that there is water in my tank. A. Sounds like your alternator is only working intermittently. The most common reason for this is the brushes are going. Either replace the alternator, or take it off and get someone to replace the brushes. The water in fuel light is water in your fuel filter. You should drain the fuel filter at the bottom, and pump the primer pump until clear fuel comes out. Good luck.

A. That sounds like a faulty unit if ever i heard of one. Even if you were accidentally holding down your PS button, it would still ask you to confirm your options. Unless you've got a ghost or extremely focused air pressure focused on your power button, I'd say you are very unlucky. This is the first actual case of PS3 hardware failure I've heard of to date. One possibility--you may be having interrupted power. Check your power source, and try plugging into another outlet. If that fails, replace your power supply cord with another standard cable (PC PS for example), and try again. It seems very fishy that it would power on and play at all. A. The harddrive spinning should make a decently loud and annoying noise. the harddrive will spin anytime something is read or written to it, so all the time. But if it sounds like clinking and clanking, there might be something physically damaged on your harddrive. i recommend you back up all your important stuff and replace the drive.

Q. Everytime my computer runs a program, light indicators on the CPU (usually RED blinks), there is this sound coming from inside the casing. I dunno if its coming from the motherboard itself. Just trying to ask if a "standard" computer usually have this annoying sound ("like wires hitting the propeller of a fan inside the CPU" -this is how i described that sound) when a computer reads a program? I dunno if this is just normal. My thought bothers me that there's something wrong in my computer. I just noticed this PROBLEM (>>probably) just this day. Before, my computer really run smoothly and there's no presence of this sound. Is there really a problem with this? My thinking is that, there maybe a suspicious program running in the… [cont.]

A. The harddrive spinning should make a decently loud and annoying noise. the harddrive will spin anytime something is read or written to it, so all the time. But if it sounds like clinking and clanking, there might be something physically damaged on your harddrive. i recommend you back up all your important stuff and replace the drive.

Q. When I open the door or when I turn off the engine and lock the doors the indicator lights start blinking for approximately 15 seconds. The little red light start blinking as well on the dash board...The car started doing it after I replaced the battery. I am not aware of any alarm in the car ( I just bought it a month ago) Do you think it is possible there is an alarm in the car? Please help me!!! :) I am lost. No, I didn't buy it in a dealership...:( it is from a broker from Miami...

A. i've never seen this before... did you buy it at a toyota dealer? if so, is it a Certified Pre-owned Toyota? if so, you can just go back to the dealer. they should fix it under warranty. let me know.

The hard drive . indicator. on the front of the computer is not . blinking. but the rebuild . indicator. on the task bar is. This leads to my questions: 1.
