A. For some unknown reason model Cl034 is also known as US2-PM435 If you own a Magnavox Cable Box your code should be 0150. Your remote can be found at the Philips website under United States URC model number US2-PM435. You can view the manual as well as find any product codes you may need at the Philips website. A. Sorry, but an old analog TV of that vintage is most likely never going to show up on the code list for any universal remote 22 years later. If you're fortunate enough to have the original remote that came with the TV, you have beaten the odds if it still works like it did in 1988. I would definitely consider that a plus and be happy using 2 separate remotes to do what you're trying to do.

A. Try opening a panel on the front of the TV, hopefully there is a menu button that you can navigate to the audio section and usually the channel up and down will move your cursor up and down and the volume up and down will move your cursor left or right. Press them and see what happens. A good universal remote will give you advanced menu features as well. Good luck with that!

How to reprogram Overhead Door Model 455 or its remote control?
Q. I have bought a CLICKER model KLIK1U that is a universal remote control. It is suppose to work for Overhead Door models. I opened it up and it has a DIP switch with 12 on/off slots. My original remote control has DIP with 9 slots that are 0- I don't know exactly how to set my new remote nor do I know if I can reprogram the main unit with its f f- and SC buttons. I do not have the original instructions to the door opener and the new CLICKER model KLIK1U instructions did not provide helpful instructions for my situation. Any ideas on how to get the CLICKER model KLIK1U to work with the older Overhead Door Model 455 garage door opener?

How come the Memorex DVD (Model: MVD2037) does not work with a Universal Remote?
Q. The original remote to the Memorex DVD (Model: MVD2037) is no longer functioning. I purchased a Universal Remote to use it as a sufficient replacement of the original remote. The Universal Remote has codes to adapt to any VCR/DVD/CD/Satellite/Cabl e unit so that it can become compatible to the unit. The code for to use a Memorex DVD is "087". I've tried like 30 times and there is still no progress in getting this to work. What's up with the Memorex MVD2037 not being compatible to a Universal Remote? It makes no send so buy another Memorex remote because they will charge me a ridiculous amount which will equal to a brand new DVD purchase. The model looks alsom slim like those flat laptop computers. Feedback on this, anybody?
